BALTIC MODEL MANAGEMENT is one of the longest-established model agencies in Lithuania, working successfully with more than 50 well-known international agencies, such as ELITE (Italy, Spain, France, the Netherlands), FASHION (Milan), IMG (New York, London, Milan, Paris), STORM (London), MODELWERK (Germany), M4 (Germany), GROUP, VIEW (Spain), WILHELMINA, NEXT (New York), BRAVO, IMAGE, SWITCH, DONNA (Tokyo) and others.

Our models who have returned from working abroad, as well as new faces who are still at school and not yet travelling, or travelling only during the holidays, shoot every month for Lithuanian magazines – "Laima", "Ieva", "Panelė", "Moteris", "Cosmopolitan", "Nuo...iki", "MM", "Ekspress mada", "Ji", "Edita", "Geri patarimai" – and take part in fashion shows by Aleksandras Pogrebnojus and Vida Simanavičiūtė, Ramunė Piekautaitė, Juozas Statkevičius, "Mados infekcija", events of the Vilnius Academy of Arts (VDA) and others. Our girls can be seen in advertising for "Europos centras", "Mados linija", "Danija", "Este" shoes, "Vilniaus kailiai", "Bitė", "Omnitel", "Čili", "Grand Casino", "Gloria", "Bizon" and others.

We work with excellent, well-known photographers: Tomas Kauneckas, Gediminas Žilinskas, Algis Kriščiūnas, Raimundas Adžgauskas, Gedmantas Kropis, Tomas Černiševas and others.

Every year the agency organises tours around Lithuania in search of new faces. Agencies from all over the world come to the final selection. When no tours are taking place, girls can send their photos and details by email or simply visit the agency, letting us know in advance. Dovilė Viršilaitė has appeared in advertising for Just Cavalli, Versus, R.E.D Valentino, CK One and Roccobarocco, and in the shows of Christian Dior, Chanel, Just Cavalli, Issey Myake, Kenzo, Sportmax, Versus, etc.

Jovita Misevičiūtė is the face of Calvin Klein fragrances, JFF and Philosophy by Alberta Ferretti. She has walked for Miu Miu, Prada, Dolce&Gabbana, Just Cavalli, Chanel, Missoni, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Maxmara, Sportmax, Burberry, etc.

Kerstin Mannik is a favourite of designers such as Blugirl, Armani, Gianfranco Ferre, Vivienne Westwood, Lacoste, John Richmond, Kenzo, Ralph Lauren and others.

All the information collected below may be slightly inaccurate, so we hope the agency will correct it

History of Baltic Model Management

Baltic Model Management is one of the oldest model agencies in Lithuania. The agency had its own office in Estonia, and its biggest discovery was supermodel Carmen Kass.

The agency was previously called simply Baltic Models, but for reasons unknown to us the agency's owner Massimo fell out with his best model, Carmen Kass, and this resulted in two agencies: Baltic Models in Estonia and Baltic Model Management in Lithuania. In Estonia, Carmen Kass herself is a co-owner of the agency together with photographer Paolo Moglia.

A good decade ago, Baltic Models worked together with what was then the Exemplum model agency, and together they discovered the first models in Lithuania. Later, however, the agencies went their separate ways: Exemplum stayed in the Lithuanian market working on various advertising projects, while Baltic Models became a gateway for models to the international market.

The Supermodels agency's opinion of Baltic Model Management (BMM)

When the agency was still called Baltic Models, it used to organise the Miss Photo Baltic event, whose winners received contracts with Baltic Models.

Today the agency holds castings in Lithuania's major cities every year in search of new faces. Twice a year BMM also organises large castings for international model agencies. Model agents from all over the world are invited to these selections and are introduced to the newly discovered faces.

Although there have been various misunderstandings with BMM over models in the history of the Supermodels (Exemplum) agency and at various events, this in no way means that it is a bad agency.

Rumours and reviews about Baltic Model Management (BMM)

• The agency's owner Massimo recruits models from other Lithuanian agencies
  (Supermodels note: Even our own girls are personally handed Massimo's business cards at various events. Such behaviour may not be entirely ethical, but whether a model changes agency depends only on the model and the terms of their contract)
• The agency's owner Massimo fights for his models, which is why some international agencies are not very fond of him
  (Supermodels note: Not all model agencies honour their agreements, so fighting for your models is definitely a positive trait. A hot Italian temperament may play a part here.)

Supermodels verdict

In the Supermodels agency's opinion, Baltic Model Management (BMM), like Modilinos, is one of the oldest agencies in Lithuania and does its job very well.
